TRAILER RECAP: Logan – Official Trailer

The 20th Century Fox marketing team behind their superhero films is pretty damn great. They’ve been teasing us with a poster and a few images of the newest Wolverine film from James Mangold for a little while now, but today Fox has released the first trailer for Logan. Let’s talk about it.

Trailer Review: Assassin’s Creed (Official Trailer #1)

The Assassin’s Creed trailer is finally here! I’ve been pretty excited for this film for a while as it was on my ‘My 10 Most Anticipated Film of 2016‘ list. I’ve played 7 of the current 9 games in the Assassin’s Creed main series of games. Justin Kurzel is directing the film, and both Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard star in the video game adaptation: it’s basically a Macbeth-reunion. The Kurzel-Macbeth was great, and I am so excited to see if this will be the first truly great movie based on a video game. So, let’s discuss the trailer. Trailer Review: Rogue One (Teaser Trailer #1) – Dagobah Day #12

It’s finally here! I’ve been really excited for the first Anthology Film in the Star Wars canon, and Rogue One is that film. It tells the story of how the Rebel Alliance got the plans to the Death Star. Basically, this is one of the most intriguing stories to tell around the time of the original trilogy. So, watch the trailer, come back to this page, and then let’s go over some of the shots in the trailer.

Suicide Squad is one of the most intriguing cinematic comic book-based projects out there, due to the involvement of the Joker and Harley Quinn – as well as the star power of Will Smith, Jared Leto, and Margot Robbie. Today the Comic Con trailer was released officially, so let’s look at what David Ayer & Co. have come up with. Continue reading “Suicide Squad – Comic Con First Look Trailer Review/Reaction”

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice – Comic Con 2015 Trailer Review

The first Batman v Superman teaser didn’t really interest me. Sure, yes, it was very brief – but we didn’t see anything that really gave me faith for the film. I love Batman, I’ve lost a lot of love for Superman over the years – so this trailer really had to give me a strong show of the Caped Crusader. I am happy to say that this trailer made me a believer of this project. Continue reading “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice – Comic Con 2015 Trailer Review”

Teaser Trailer Released For Ant-Man

Six months ago I was very vocal in saying that Marvel should probably rethink Ant-Man – its release, the film – everything. I even said they should table the character until they, inevitably, reboot the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Following the US premiere of Agent Carter – a show about Peggy Carter starring Hayley Atwell, who reprises her role from the Captain America-films – Marvel released the first teaser trailer for Ant-Man, starring Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas & Evangeline Lily. Today, I’ll give you my thoughts. Do I still feel this is a mistake? Continue reading “Teaser Trailer Released For Ant-Man”
