REACTION: Doctor Strange – IMAX Preview
On Tuesday night, I was in Copenhagen to watch the 15-minute IMAX preview presentation of Marvel’s Doctor Strange. It was a real experience, so I thought I’d tell you about it. Honestly, Doctor Strange looks incredible, and if you attended a screening of these 15 minutes then you’d be convinced. Cinematographer Ben Davis wasn’t lying when he called this Marvel’s Fantasia.

I love the Oscars. Sure, there’s almost always controversy. Sure, the Academy doesn’t always recognize my favorite films, but it’s always entertaining. To me, at the very least. Box Office: Doctor Strange Predictions! – Marvelous Monday #54
Firstly, I need to prepare you for a pretty different ‘look’ for Marvelous Monday. It’s my longest running opinion-piece series. I always try to change or tweak the series a little bit, and now I’ve decided to really copy some of what I’ve done with Testing Television.
In every post, I’ll mention the most important pieces of news in a section called Marvelous Bugle, named after the Daily Bugle, of course. And the other section of Marvelous Monday will now be called Opinion, and I’ll give my thoughts there on the topic I’ve chosen for that month.
This month my focus is on what we should expect Doctor Strange to make at the box office, but Marvelous Bugle will be all about what was announced at San Diego Comic Con 2016!

Top 10 Supporting Characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe – Marvelous Monday #53
I’ve had a lot of fun doing these different top ten lists for Dagobah Day, so I thought I should maybe try to do that for Marvelous Monday. This Monday, I’m ranking ten of the best supporting characters. Villains don’t count. If you have your own solo film, then you don’t count. Characters from Agent Carter or Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. are eligible. Full members of the Avengers don’t count, not even Hawkeye, Black Widow, Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, Falcon, Vision, or War Machine. And I don’t think the new Spider-Man should count either. So, with that out of the way, let’s get to it.

Is Brie Larson Our Captain Marvel? – Marvelous Monday #52
I am, by no means, a big fan of the Captain Marvel character, but I appreciate the love a lot of fans have for her. Still, this character means more to me as a result of this blog. The very first Marvelous Monday, way back in January of 2015, was about who could play Captain Marvel. I wrote about Katee Sackhoff, Emily Blunt, and Yvonne Strahovski. Now, we’re hearing that Brie Larson, star of Room, is in talks to star as Carol Danvers. Why is Marvel going for Larson, and why are we hearing this now?

I already had four written reviews (Winter Soldier; Guardians of the Galaxy; Age of Ultron; Ant-Man), but I thought it was important for me to state my complete opinions on these films, like I did with the original Star Wars trilogy last year.
