Well. Well. Well. We finally have a title. And I think it’s an absolutely fantastic Star Wars title. Today I want to talk about how I interpret the title and the ‘red lettering’ of the teaser poster. It could be really straightforward, but maybe – just maybe – it hints at someone not many people see as a Jedi right now. Let’s get to it. 2017: The Journey to Episode VIII Continues – Dagobah Day #26
We’ve seen Rogue One, and now we’re looking forward to the next chapter in the Star Wars saga – Star Wars: Episode VIII. We’ve still got quite a way to go before we’re watching the movie, but I thought that I’d sort of prepare you for what I’m looking forward to in the world of Star Wars in 2017.

Rogue One Predictions – Dagobah Day #21
Last September, Dagobah Day focused on four predictions I had for Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens. Two of my four predictions look pretty good today and – technically – the last two could still be true if they explain more about Snoke and Poe in the future.
I’m not caught up on the Poe Dameron comic book, so that may have actually debunked my theory. Today, I want to try to speculate and make some predictions about Rogue One: A Star Wars Story‘s plot.

Top 10 Best Moments in the Original Trilogy – Dagobah Day #15
Last month, Dagobah Day focused on the best moments in the prequel trilogy. It wasn’t always easy to point out what moments were good, in three movies that aren’t that great. Today I didn’t have trouble finding good moments. Instead, my biggest problem was to rank the greatest moments of the original trilogy. The original trilogy is one of the best trilogies of all-time. So, today I want to single out ten of the greatest moments in the original trilogy, to remind Star Wars-fans how lucky we are to have these films and these characters. Trailer Review: Rogue One (Teaser Trailer #1) – Dagobah Day #12
It’s finally here! I’ve been really excited for the first Anthology Film in the Star Wars canon, and Rogue One is that film. It tells the story of how the Rebel Alliance got the plans to the Death Star. Basically, this is one of the most intriguing stories to tell around the time of the original trilogy. So, watch the trailer, come back to this page, and then let’s go over some of the shots in the trailer.

2 Spin-Off Stories We Need – Dagobah Day #11
Not long ago we got the news that the casting process for young Han Solo was almost done. Rogue One‘s first trailer should be appearing sometime in the next month or so. So, I started to wonder about other possible Star Wars-anthology films that I wanted made. That lead me to today’s post, wherein I pitch two Star Wars stories for Disney to adapt. We Need To Talk About Kylo – Dagobah Day #10
Attention: the following post contains spoilers for Star Wars: The Force Awakens!
I’ve spoken to numerous people about the newest villains in the Star Wars saga, and what has become abundantly clear is that I don’t see eye to eye with a lot of the people criticizing the character of Kylo Ren. I’ve found myself defending his character, his development, his design, and the like on multiple occasions. I’m getting really tired of seeing people misinterpreting the greatness of Kylo Ren, so this month’s Dagobah Day is all about Kylo! Continue reading “We Need To Talk About Kylo – Dagobah Day #10”
Who Could Del Toro Be Playing in Episode VIII? – Dagobah Day #9
Dagobah Day is an opinion/news piece on all things Star Wars, which posts on the first monday of every month. Beware of spoilers for the Star Wars Saga-films.
Benicio Del Toro is one of the most talented actors out there. Del Toro is best known for starring in 21 Grams, Traffic, The Usual Suspects, and now Sicario. A couple of years ago, Del Toro apparently decided to star in more mainstream films, along came Guardians of the Galaxy, and, suddenly, Del Toro was the Collector to a whole new generation. That is about to change as he has signed on to star in Star Wars: Episode VIII. Today, on Dagobah Day, I mention some of the possible characters that he could play. We now live in the post-The Force Awakens world. We’ve seen Episode VII of the Star Wars saga, and some of us may have even seen it multiple times. The Force Awakens was a great film that gave us new hope for the future of the Star Wars franchise. But now we wait for Episode VIII and Rogue One. The Journey to Episode VIII begins with me discussing one of the unanswered questions that The Force Awakens asked! Continue reading “Is Rey Related To A Core Character? – Dagobah Day #8”
How Bad Is The Prequel Trilogy? – Dagobah Day #7
Yes, the Prequels are treated terribly by most Star Wars fans. No, they aren’t great films. But yes, they do have fans. Now, while I am not one of the aforementioned Prequel fans, I do think the trilogy gets more criticism than it deserves. Continue reading “How Bad Is The Prequel Trilogy? – Dagobah Day #7”
