Marvel’s Daredevil is a Netflix show created by Drew Goddard and developed by Steven S. DeKnight which has begun a Netflix adventure for the Disney owned Marvel Cinematic Universe. Make no mistake, Matt Murdock and the rest of the Defenders exist in the same universe as the Avengers – with the Chitauri invasion being hinted at once or twice during this first season.
Last Friday we saw the beginning of something truly epic in the world of Netflix and in the universe of the MCU. Marvel’s Daredevil is the first exclusive Netflix show about the MCU, and it is the first of four solo shows to culminate in The Defenders. Today I ask myself whether it is fair to be excited about AKA Jessica Jones, Luka Cage, Iron Fist, and The Defenders?
