Marvel’s Daredevil is a new Netflix show from the same universe as the Avengers films. Expect spoilers for every review this season, though I’m going to try to limit spoilery details. “The Path of the Righteous” is the eleventh episode of the first season, and in this episode we find out if Vanessa is okay.
Okay, so as I wrote in the last review, I expected Vanessa to have been killed – I didn’t expect that the writers would keep her be. Still, though, perhaps it’s for the best – her influence is clear, and as long as she’s a weak point for Fisk, our protagonists have a way in.
But Fisk did suffer a loss. His only friend left him at the hospital to take care of Karen Page – only to be trumped by his own foolishness.
The rest of the episode didn’t do much for me, which is to say that I think it was rather predictable. Go to Potter and have him produce a new costume – or symbol, as he called it.
It’s taken a while for Matt to consider changing the look of his costume – and it looks like we’ll get to see it sooner rather than later.
