British Theatrical Release Poster – 20th Century Fox

The following is a review of Kingsman: The Golden Circle – Directed by Matthew Vaughn

If you’ve ever seen Morgan Spurlock’s Academy Award nominated McDonalds documentary called Super Size Me, then you’re familiar with what a super-size portion is. For the uninitiated, I can report that a super-size portion at McDonalds was an extra large portion of fries or soda that one was offered before Spurlock’s documentary. It (Warner Bros.); Kingsman: The Golden Circle (20th Century Fox); The LEGO Ninjago Movie (Warner Bros.)

September is looking pretty, pretty good to me. We’ve got a Stephen King remake I am incredibly excited for, a sequel to a surprise hit by Matthew Vaughn, and, well, another LEGO Movie. Let’s talk about how much money these films will make in their opening weekends. My 17 Most Anticipated Films of 2017

2017-anticipated

2016 is almost over, and I really can’t believe it. It feels like the summer movie season just ended, but here we are at the end of the year. That also means that we need to start looking forward to some of the films that are released next year. I, obviously, don’t know if any or all of these will be good, or even great, but with this list I’m trying to point out which films I’m super excited for. REVIEW: Kingsman – The Secret Service (2015)

20th Century Fox poster for Kingsman: The Secret Service

The following is an updated spoiler-filled review of Kingsman: The Secret Service – Directed by Matthew Vaughn

If you’re like me, then you like the Daniel Craig Bond-films. But, then, if you are like me, you probably think that some of them take themselves too seriously. In what is a nice break from serious spy flicks, Kingsman takes over and successfully manages to captivate its audience. If you want to know what the love-child of The Spy Who Loved Me and Kick-Ass is, then watch this film and find out. Continue reading “REVIEW: Kingsman – The Secret Service (2015)”

Planned Reviews for (the rest of) February 2015

Planned Reviews
Hey there! So, February 2015 has been pretty busy for me. Marvelous Monday is still going strong, I’m thinking about launching a weekly post on DC as well, TV Episode Reviews have gained importance on the site – but I am yet to release a full written review of a 2015 film.

Therefore I’ve decided to release a list of things I plan to review each month – and then some other things might come up during that month. So, seeing as February is already going strong this list won’t be as long as others.

Planned TV Reviews

  • Marvel’s Agent Carter – Episodes 2-6, possibly 7 and 8.
  • Better Call Saul – Episode 4.
  • House of Cards – Season 3.

Planned Film Reviews

  • Kingsman: The Secret Service.

Planned Comic Book Reviews

  • Batman #39.

One of these reviews might miss February, seeing as I won’t manage to see/read/play the content until the end of the month.

Anything you want me to review? Any recommendations? Sound off in the comments.

I’m Jeffrey Rex

EDIT #1:

– The Order 1886 February Written Review is cancelled due to schedule alterations. New Written Review date is TBD.
