If You Like HBO’s WESTWORLD, Then Watch These Films

This month’s recommendation post is going to go a bit differently than the last one. You see, these recommendations aren’t based on a new film release, but rather on the second season of a hit HBO show, which comes to an end this Sunday. HBO’s Westworld is a great show. So, if you need something similar to watch after you’ve seen the final episode of season two this Sunday, then have a look at my seven film suggestions for you to watch if you are a fan of HBO’s Westworld. Top Ten Films of 2017

It is almost time for the 90th Academy Awards, and that, of course, means that I have to show you what films I believe to be the very best of 2017. I’ve got my blog awards, the final half of which I released a few days ago, but the top ten list is probably my favorite annual year-in-review article that I publish. So, let us now have a look at the very best films of the great year for film that 2017 was.

Oscar Chances for BLADE RUNNER 2049 – Special Features #6

BLADE RUNNER 2049 is one of my favorite movies of the year thus far. Unfortunately, while most critics love the film, general audiences aren’t excited to see it. The film’s opening weekend in North America was alarmingly low at just $32m, and, to the best of my knowledge, it isn’t doing all that well in the rest of the world either.

The original Blade Runner, which was directed by Ridley Scott, was originally met with mixed reviews and, to the best of my knowledge, it didn’t find much success at the box office. (more…)

2016-top-ten-films-header

It’s time for me to finally let go of 2016 by officially announcing my top ten films of 2016. I’ve said this multiple times at the beginning of 2017, but I just don’t think 2016 deserves to be known as a bad year for movies. I think it was a bad year for blockbuster films, but at the end of the year there were so many great films to watch. (more…)

pred-acad

It’s that time of the year again, folks! The Academy Awards are just around the corner. Soon the Academy will reveal all of the nominees. However, just like last year, I am going to try to predict the nominations and, later, predict the winners based on the actual nominations. (more…)
