Everybody wants to rule the world. Everybody wants to be Marvel Studios or Lucasfilm. It is perfectly natural to want to make many Harry Potter spin-off films, but it is a bit much to want to make five films about Newt Scamander. But that isn’t all Fantastic Beasts is. Because this film makes it very clear that the Fantastic Beasts-brand is used as an all-encompassing title for every prequel spin-off dream Warner Bros. and J. K. Rowling, who is now writing the scripts for these films without basing it on a book of hers, could be interested in. (more…)

The following is a review of King Arthur: Legend of the Sword – Directed by Guy Ritchie

I’m not one of those people who is an expert on Arthurian mythology, but I do quite enjoy the story as a whole. As a matter of fact, back when this film was referred to as ‘Knights of the Round Table,’ I was extremely excited for the film.

But when the film was pushed to 2017, I sort of lost interest in it, to be honest with you. Now, I’ve seen King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, or, as I’d like to call it, Guy Ritchie’s Gods of Egypt, if Gods of Egypt included Arthurian mythology. (more…)

I just saw Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them the other day, and I’m really excited about having the Rowlingverse back on the big screen. Recently, director David Yates confirmed to Screen Rant that we will be seeing a younger Dumbledore in the sequel to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
