In the seventh episode of Westworld, Theresa (played by Sidse Babett Knudsen) and Charlotte (played by Tessa Thompson) meet to discuss a presentation, William (played by Jimmi Simpson), Dolores (played by Evan Rachel Wood), and El Lazo (played by Clifton Collins, Jr.) are attacked by Confederados, and Maeve (played by Thandie Newton) looks for Clementine (played by Angela Sarafyan).

In the second episode of HBO’s Westworld, which was released early (apparently, to avoid clashing with a US presidential debate), we experience the park from the perspective of a first-time visitor named William (played by Jimmi Simpson). Meanwhile – behind the scenes – Elsie Hughes (played by Shannon Woodward) fears that whatever happened to Abernathy may be contagious.

REVIEW: Westworld – “The Original”

The following is a spoiler review of the first episode of Westworld – Developed by Jonathan Nolan & Lisa Joy

Westworld – produced by Jonathan Nolan, J. J. Abrams, and Bryan Burk, among others – is based on the science fiction film of the same name from 1973, which was written and directed by Michael Crichton. It takes place in a futuristic theme park, where guests – or ‘newcomers,’ as they are called – can interact with robots – or androids – in any way they see fit.

The following is a quick spoiler review of the second episode of the HBO Limited Series “The Night Of.”

In the second episode of The Night Of (“Subtle Beast”), Naz (played by Riz Ahmed) struggles with his new surroundings and realizes he has no one to truly trust. No one truly cares about our Naz. Detective Box (played by Bill Camp) and Jack Stone (played by John Turturro) represent both sides of the system, and Naz is, sadly, being used by both of those sides. The Night Of, which is based on Peter Moffat’s Criminal Justice, follows Nasir “Naz” Khan (played by Riz Ahmed), a Pakistani-American college student, on the night that he is arrested for the murder of a young woman (played by Sofia Black-D’Elia). REVIEW: Vinyl – “Pilot”

Vinyl Reviewed

The following is a review of the first episode of Vinyl, available on HBO and HBO Nordic right now.

Vinyl, created by Martin Scorsese, Terence Winter, Mick Jagger, and Rich Cohen, follows Richie Finestra (played by Bobby Cannavale), a record executive for American Century on the cusp of a massive label buyout deal with a German company, as he tries to manage his crumpling label, his love for music, his family, and his sanity. The pilot episode was just released and it is an excellent piece of television.
