REVIEW: Coming 2 America (2021)

Craig Brewer’s Coming 2 America takes place 30 years after the events of the first film, and the sequel still follows Akeem (played by Eddie Murphy), who has now become king of Zamunda, as he tries to figure out who his heir to the throne will be. The neighboring nation conveniently called Nextdoria (you get the joke) has proposed that since Akeem has no male successor to the throne, his eldest daughter, Meeka (played by KiKi Layne), should be married to the eldest son of the leader of Nextdoria for the purpose of bringing the two nations closer together. REVIEW: Ghostbusters (2016)

The following is a review of Ghostbusters (2016) – Directed by Paul Feig.

A few months ago, I went back and rewatched the first two original Ghostbusters films and reviewed them both. I still loved the original film, but I absolutely hated rewatching the sequel. Now, I did all of this to prepare for the remake that came out this year. Unfortunately, I missed it when it was in theaters. Now, however, I’ve had the chance to see it on Blu-Ray and here’s my knee-jerk reaction: it’s fine.
