The following is a quick review of Atomic Blonde – Directed by David Leitch.

Atomic Blonde is an action spy film set in the lead-up to the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989. The film stars Charlize Theron as Lorraine Broughton, a top spy for the MI6, who has been sent to Berlin to investigate the murder of another agent (played by Sam Hargrave), as well as retrieve a list that contains information about a double agent known only as ‘Satchel.’ In Berlin, Broughton is backed up by David Percival (played by James McAvoy), in her search for the aforementioned list. REVIEW: Prometheus (2012)

Ridley Scott’s long-awaited return to the Alien-franchise – Prometheus – offered up several surprises and was ultimately deemed a ‘let down’ by many fans of the franchise. The premise of the prequel film was, to an extent, at odds with fan expectations, but was nevertheless an admirable and ambitious attempt at rebranding a franchise that needed to feel fresh again. REVIEW: Mad Max – Fury Road (2015)

The following is a review of Mad Max: Fury Road — Directed by George Miller.

Thirty years ago the last Mad Max-film, Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome, was released. Although all three films are beloved by fans, it is still somewhat of a cult franchise. Sure, very few people realize just how much the original Mad Max films gave to its genre. Yes, some people have surely understimated the impact of the film series. But the franchise is, by no means, a film that young audiences hold dear right now. Nevertheless, you don’t get many better dystopian action films than Mad Max: Road Warrior. However, I am pleased to report that the latest Mad Max-sequel, Mad Max: Fury Road, actually tops it. George Miller’s latest film is absolutely terrific.
