It’s time for another Top Ten Tuesday. Actually, it’s finally time to crown the top 10 movie heroes of all-time. Do note that these characters aren’t solely ranked on how heroic their actions are. Also, some heroes may not be traditional heroes. Without further ado, here are the top ten movie heroes of all-time.
#10 – Captain America

I almost ended up giving this spot to Rocky Balboa or Spider-Man. I also considered Clarice Starling and Superman, but, in the end, it felt right to put the current top superhero movie star on the list in front of those characters. Is Superman more iconic? Maybe. But Captain America has taken Kal-El’s role as an American superhero icon with some of the greatest superhero films released in the 21st Century.
#9 – Oskar Schindler

Schindler’s List is one of the greatest achievements in filmmaking. It, simply, is a masterpiece, and, in my opinion, Spielberg’s best film. Oskar Schindler saved so many people, and, while he could’ve saved more, he definitely deserves to be on the list.
#8 – Marty McFly

“Calvin? Wh… Why do you keep calling me Calvin?”
#7 – Batman

Batman may, in fact, be the most popular ‘super’ hero of all-time. The character has survived some really bad films, and, still, stands as one of the most recognizable heroes of all-time. Great filmmakers like Tim Burton and, especially, Christopher Nolan have given us unforgettable versions of the Dark Knight.
#6 – James Bond

Sophisticated, charming, deadly. The most well-known movie ‘secret agent’ has stood the test of time, and he is still one of the very best.
#5 – Leia Organa

“I love you.”
#4 – Indiana Jones

“We named the dog ‘Indiana.'”
#3 – Han Solo

“I know.”
#2 – Ellen Ripley

“Did IQs just drop sharply while I was away?”
#1 – Luke Skywalker

Luke Skywalker – a brave and powerful Jedi – is the best movie hero of all-time. This was an easy choice for me. Luke Skywalker has always been my favorite hero, my favorite Star Wars character, and I think it’s pretty easy to see why so many people love the character.
