Underworld did a little bit worse than I thought it would, it didn’t get particularly close to Rogue One, which was in its fourth week at the box office. xXx also underperformed a little bit. I never really understood why people were excited for that film, if I’m being honest.
Resident Evil also underperformed in the U.S., but it’s apparently doing pretty well outside of America. Split is the real success story. It almost made twice as much as I had predicted it would. In fact, Split‘s second weekend was even bigger than I thought its first weekend would be.
